Cheap cordless drill

One of the great things about the Lucy XL extruder is that it comes with a direct connector for a power drill. Which means – in case you’ve never tried to extrude clay by hand – that you can use your drill to spin the plunger down the barrel of the extruder.

 

Just be careful you don’t get carried away and extrude all the way to the bottom of the extruder and out of the bottom. Ask me how I know…

 

A drill is also a more manageable way of drilling holes in beads and findings etc than the Dremel, especially if you don't have a dremel stand (I don't).
