or just read all about it with kit lists, free tutorials and guides to finishing your pieces
Sorry!
All polymer workshops are cancelled until further notice.
But as you're here, why not sign up for my newsletter - you'll be the first to hear when I set new dates! :)
What's so great about polymer?
I love polymer, and I think you should too. It's an incredibly versatile and forgiving art medium that rewards you for every minute you spend working with it.

-
It has amazing tactile qualities and is lovely to work with - at least, once it's conditioned!
-
It combines the best elements of sculpture and painting.
-
It can be as 3D, or as two dimensional as you want it to be.
-
The colours are vibrant and infinitely blendable. It also comes in translucent, glow-in-the-dark, and metallic colours.
-
Once cured it is tough, permanent and colour fast.
-
It's not (particularly!) messy
-
It doesn't demand a lot of specialist equipment - a blade, a worksurface, a roller and a second hand pasta machine off Ebay will get you quite a long way.
-
It's readily available and fairly affordable
-
There are loads of interesting techniques to learn
-
...and it doesn't take years of practice to make beautiful pieces!
