Lucy XL extruder

This is another piece of heavy duty polymer equipment manufactured by the Czech Lucy company.

They're great but also a bit temperamental and the LUCY company hasn't got a great reputation for prompt customer service - I wrecked one part of my extruder and STILL haven't managed to get a replacement for it.

 

Best bit about the large extruders is the amount of clay you can process at once, and the fact that they come with a drill bit attachment, so you can use your cheap cordless drill (mentioned above!) to push the clay through the die, rather than a lot of laborious elbow grease!
