Over the next couple of weeks I'm taking part in the Surrey Artists' Open Studios. This event sees many Surrey artists opening their studios to the public to give people a peep behind the scenes.

This year I'm sharing space with several other artists at the studio of my amazing silversmithing tutor and friend, Aileen Hamilton.

Anyway, as part of the Open Studio, I'm running a "make a bangle" workshop, so if you've ever fancied making your own beautiful millefiori bracelet from start to finish, this one is for you!

  • We'll start by making the bangle base.

  • While that's curing, you'll choose colours and I'll show you how to make a couple of different millefiori patterns.

  • We'll then put the two together to make your very own beautiful, unique piece of 'wearable art'.

  • If there's time I'll show you the basics of sanding polymer, which will give your pieces that gorgeous tactile, polished finish.

Includes ALL materials and a FREE sanding kit so that you can finish your beautiful creation!

Cost : £50 (places very limited)

Runs from: 10am - 1pm on Tuesday 13th June

Location: Creative Jewellery Workshop, 26 Whitepost Hill, Redhill, RH1 6DA

(It's a bit hidden away, click here for a map but also ask for directions from Aileen)

To book, please contact Aileen on info@aileenhamilton.co.uk or call her on 07939 010183
